What is the one sentence pitch of your venture?

Data-driven dairy farming for Indian dairy farmers

Tell us more about your team?

Team is led by two founders; Anil Mishra and Sachin Garg. Anil has worked as software developer for 3 years with clinical trials and drug development company. Sachin has also worked as Software developer and consultant for 5 years with Microsoft and startups. INHOF Technologies was founded in September 2016.

How did you come up with the idea of your venture?

It was in early 2016, when two medium scale dairy farmers and a cattle feed selling associate came up with a freelancing job to develop a customized software for their dairy. We accepted the proposal and visited their farms in Jaipur. We realized the lack of data was affecting management and tracking process. We wanted to validate this pain points, so we visited some other small farms with 5-10 herd size. We realized lack of finance and knowledge have affected the livelihood of farmers in this industry. That was the point we decided not to make a customized software, we will make a dairy platform that will be available to the farmer at economical cost.

What problem are you solving?

Farmers in India do not have any tool to monitor and track breeding activities of cattle.

Not able to track profitable cattle in a lactation.

No awareness on their farm economics like per litre production cost.

How does it work?
